Data collection
We do not ask for names or user accounts. A click-through record is created only when you actively open a viewing provider. It contains the content ID and type, provider ID, region code, and timestamp. Ordinary page views do not create click records. Servers and CDNs may process IP addresses, request paths, and browser information for security and operations.
Cookies and third-party services
MovieNav uses a language preference cookie and may use Google AdSense and analytics services. Those providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
Our servers obtain catalogue data from TMDb, OMDB, TVMaze, and Trakt. When your browser loads third-party images, advertising, analytics, or an external platform, that provider may receive your IP address and browser information.
Data security and retention
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Operational logs and click-through records are retained only as needed for security, service operation, legal obligations, and abuse prevention. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may stop using MovieNav at any time, clear the language cookie, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights. We may need information sufficient to identify the relevant record.
Children and changes
MovieNav is a general-audience information service and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
